About Connie Cenac

Connie Cenac is a passionate servant of God, entrepreneur, minister, and author dedicated to fulfilling God’s purpose and spreading His love across the world. Her journey into ministry began in 1980 when she and her husband surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ. From that moment, they became bold witnesses for Christ, integrating their faith into their business endeavors in the healthcare industry. Long before the term "marketplace ministers" became common, Connie and her husband lived out this calling—mentoring employees, caring for clients, and sharing the gospel at every opportunity.

Despite facing trials, challenges, and even persecution for their faith, Connie held onto God’s promise: that those who delight in Him will be rewarded. This trust led her and her family into ministry, where they have impacted lives across nations, providing salvation, healing, deliverance, and hope.

A Life of Faith and Service

Connie’s ministry has taken her across the globe, from Jacksonville, FL to South & Central America to the British Isles to Europe, China, the Philippines and Africa. Alongside her husband, she has discipled individuals, restored marriages, and led people into financial and spiritual freedom.

They founded Sanctuary Church of Jacksonville, a ministry built on the principles of the early church—gathering in homes, sharing meals, and engaging in deep discipleship. Though pastoring was not their initial desire, God called them to shepherd His people, a role they have faithfully embraced for over 27 years.

Inspiration and Mentorship

A key influence in Connie’s faith journey was Dr. Stephen P. Gyland, a bold marketplace minister who used every moment—from hospital hallways to cocktail parties—as a divine appointment to share Jesus. His unwavering faith and dedication to leading others to Christ left a lasting impact on Connie, and she carries his legacy of fearless evangelism to this day.

Challenges and Triumphs

The journey of ministry has not been without difficulties. One of the greatest challenges Connie has faced is remaining faithful despite seeing those she disciples move on to larger churches when they are ready to minister. However, she has learned that her role is to remain faithful, trusting that Jesus is the Good Shepherd who leads His people.

Financially, Connie has witnessed miraculous provision, including million-dollar blessings that have sustained their marketplace ministry. Through generosity and trust in God's provision, she has experienced the truth of reaping what she sows.

Balancing Life and Ministry

With a schedule that has included 60-hour workweeks, Connie and her husband have found creative ways to balance family, marriage, and ministry:

⦿ Hot date nights – Dressing up and doing something extravagant.

⦿ Bringing children on business trips – Allowing for quality family time.

⦿ Annual ski trips – Creating cherished family traditions.

⦿ Frequent vacations – Prioritizing rest and relaxation.

Impact on the Community

As an entrepreneur, Connie has seen her businesses thrive due to God's faithfulness. Welcome Homecare has been recognized for its high-quality patient outcomes, leading hospitals to partner with them without the need for heavy marketing.

Additionally, Seacoast Christian Academy, founded in 1993, has been shaping generations of Christian leaders. Through its accreditation with U.S. Immigration, the school has brought students from around the world—China, South Korea, Vietnam, Philippines, Ukraine, Israel, Nigeria, Italy, Spain and beyond—introducing them to Christ and preparing them to impact their own nations.

Her 15 years of service on the Board of Directors for GoToNations has further expanded her global impact, supporting missions worldwide.
